PAS central political bureau member Khalid Samad also said he agreed wholeheartedly with Anwar’s view that it was an insult when countries hail Malaysia a modern Islamic nation.
“With the level of corruption everywhere, I have to agree with him,” said Khalid, who is also Shah Alam MP.
“Because when you’re talking about an Islamic state, you’re talking about the political aspect, the social practices rather than the individual practice.
“In terms of governance, accountability of leaders to the general public, the racial-racist policies inculcated is contrary to Islamic principles of life. That would be an insult,” he said.
Khalid says an Islamic state does not allow corruption. Khalid also highlighted the corruption issues in the country.
“An Islamic state does not allow corruption, does not allow cronyism... An Islamic state insists on strong moral practices, for leaders to be an example to the general society at large and that is not the case with the BN government,” he stressed.

True muslim dont play politics? Inilah manusia yang memisahkan politik dan agama. Islam adalah menyeluruh. Politik adalah sebahagian dari agama. Bagi yang faham politik itu adalah sebahagian dari agama, maka tidak akan adanya rasuah dan penyalahgunaan kuasa dalam politik. Tapi jika politik dipisahkan dari agama, maka itulah yang kita lihat sekarang.

Setiap rakyat akan merasa lega sekiranya sistem yang adil, jujur dapat ditegakkan.
Buat masa ini, YB dan semua YBs yang ada kat parlimen kena lah kerja lebih kuat dan buktikan bahawa kita kearah keadilan yang hakiki.
Banyak yang perlu dilakukan, rakyat perlu yakin satu sistem yang baik dalam kerangka yang betul betul telus akan membawa Selangor khususnya dan Malaysia amnya kearah membuktikan bahawa sistem Islam ini adil dan saksama, bukan yang ramai anggapkan.

Rasanya YB ni memang suka provoke orang supaya orang mcm Joehan boleh marah pada YB then YB atau orang-orang PAS PIS PUS kata si Joehan ni tak islamik la atau pakai ayat Anon kat atas Un-Munafik.
Lebih baik YB siasat atau terangkan panjang lebar kenapa PKNS nak jual bangunan dia kat PJ & Shah Alam. Satu lagi, tolong ulas isu Yayasan Selangor.
