Shah Alam Member of Parliament Khalid Samad said the victim and her family are angry at the ‘couldn’t care less” attitude of the university. He said much more is expected of UITM.
“They should have provided her with counselling and support.” he said.
The only help given to the victim, who is on leave, is the flexibility to rejoin her course at any time. However the second-year hotel and hospitality management student is unlikely to return.
Khalid alleges both the university and police had indicated to the victim she should just drop the complaint.
“More needs to be done to step up security because parents are trusting UITM with the safety of their daughters.”

Dear Bro. Khalid. Glad to hear that finally you had performed as an MP covering Shah Alam. Its better for you to concentrate on this case rather than being busy hovering and speculating false allegations against the ulamaks.

Lepas ni semua mangsa rogol akan saman kerajaan (persekutuan dan kerajaan negeri) kerana tak menyediakan satu suasana yang selamat dan sikap tak memberi sokongan kepada mangsa..
Kalau tak tau sesuatu isu tu lebih baik lah senyap shj sbb kalau bercakap akan menampakkan kebodohan diri sendiri. Mangsa berada dalam tempat yg sepatutnya dikawal oleh pihak yang berkenaan, bukan dirumah atau kawasan persendirian. Janganlah nak politikkan isu ini. Encik ada anak perempuan tak? Dia pegi sekolah? Saya harapkan dia sentisa selamat...
Cuba bayangkan anak gadis "kita" = ibu bapa diperlakukan seperti sedangkan kita menyangka kan anak kita itu selamat di institusi itu. Tiba2 mendaapat panggilan "hello puan, anak buat ada di balai polis sek.... utk membuat laporan. anak puan disyaki dirogol..!?
Apakah sebagai ibu tidak luluh hati n jiwanya bila mendapat perkhabaran seperti itu?

melihat fenomena UiTM Shah Alam yg terkenal dengan student yg cultural shock ini, ianya telah sinonim dgn panggilan sejak turun temurun lagi.. Sebab apa?
Sebab yg NC sendiri kene jawab.
Situasi sekarang ini memang, sistem kawalan kurang diberi penekanan di kolej2 kediaman. ini juga merupakan salah satu faktor boleh berlaku kecuaian tersebut. Lelaki perempuan bebas keluar masuk kolej.. ( Adakah ini yg dinamakan selamat? )
Pengalaman saya berada di UITM Shah Alam selama 5 tahun telah khadam pelbagai karenah termasuk juga bhg pentadbiran kolej.
Tidak mustahil kes tersebut berlaku kerana isu2 demikian sering didengari dicorong telinga pelajar siswi terutama di kolej2 kediaman.
Bila adanya sekatan-sekatan di pintu utama UiTM, waktu itu juga la terdengarnya isu yg tidak enak didengar n menakut-nakutkan pelajar siswi ini.
Bayangkanlah.. siswa boleh sesuka hati masuk kawasan kolej siswa dan "merendek" atau perkataan yg biasa disebut bertenet di ruang legar kolej.. hantar siswi menaiki motor..
Situasi ini tidak di pantau oleh RS atau penjaga kolej ini.. juga perbuatan siswa siswi yg langgar peraturan kolej juga tidak di TEGAH dengan kuatnya..
Malah mereka hanya sibuk dengan pantau surau.. melihatkan siapa yg duk solat jemaah.. then 2-3hari lepas tu dapatla surat saman / amaran dari pentadbiran.. tidak dibenarkan membuat kumpulan usrah disini..
(inilah perkara yg mengelikan hati kami)
yg mungkkar tidak ditegah.. yg maaruf pula dicegah..! inilah UiTM.
Kata nya bumiputera tp hak pelajar islam tidak diberi mandat malah ada yg dipecat!
biasalah UiTM Di Hati Ku.
